The themes of the conference are

1- AI in Health Sciences Education

Artificial intelligence will change the landscape of health care practice and give rise to new possibilities for patient care.  Healthcare providers are in a unique position to lead this era of technological integration and innovation. Large amounts of patient data currently being collected will be leveraged to provide clinical insight into personalized health care on a global scale. However, there remain many barriers to wide-scale implementation of artificial intelligence tools, including our historic practices of collecting and documenting patient data, as well as the organization of our health care system. Lack of training has Health care providers underprepared to face the full potential of these tools and safeguard against adverse consequences for patient care. Given the exciting opportunities for the use of artificial intelligence in Healthcare, ways to overcome associated challenges. We explore the current state of AI literacy among Health Sciences educators, health care professionals and how to introduce the students to personalized learning and adaptive learning and preparing them for the future work place with AI technology implementation.

2- Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

A rapidly accelerating number of academic research studies have demonstrated the various applications of AI in healthcare, in medical imaging analysis including algorithms for interpreting chest radiographs and detecting cancer in mammograms.  Big Data and AI in Health care Applications have also been shown in pathology, identifying cancerous skin lesions and interpreting retinal imaging. Applications of AI in therapy and rehabilitation, Machine learning for Drug Discovery, using Deep learning for Disease Predictions applying Natural language processing to clinical decision-making.
