The field of Artificial Intelligence has begun to impact in many areas of our life during the past twenty years.

The main objective of the conference is to improve the quality of health care services in the state of Kuwait by increasing literacy about the ways that artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied in healthcare service provisioning.

The First International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will focus on the benefits of AI in both Health Sciences Education and in Healthcare Applications.

It is a next challenging stage where teaching staff start introducing Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning and other techniques into their didactics and clinical courses. The digital transformation and migration from the classical methods of teaching and learning basic Sciences and other discipline courses, which are neither sufficient and nor possible in displaying more in depth without implementing the cutting-edge technology using Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning.

Hence, the great necessity to overcome these levels of the Artificial Intelligence illiteracy among the teaching staff by starting to have a continuous professional training thru Workshops and courses in Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals.

The second theme deals with the application of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. In Kuwait there has been great efforts done in this manner by using robotic surgery in different specialties since 2014 and other areas of the healthcare system.

This conference aims to break the grounds in introducing Artificial Intelligence and its applications in the Faculties of the Health Sciences Center and Healthcare facilities in Kuwait through oral presentations, keynote addresses, video presentations, and poster presentations. We are glad to unite a community of people committed to reshaping technology using the most leading-edge in artificial intelligence techniques.

The outcome of our conference allows to make distinguished networks among the audience, fill the literacy gaps about Artificial Intelligence in Health Sciences Education and Healthcare Applications, introduce front-line technology for healthcare providers and work towards first class model for all the Health Sciences Center Faculties and implement the best practice for the healthcare system.
